In kindergarten and elementary school, the children are placed in mixed age groups: from 3 – 6, 6 – 9 and 9 – 12 years. Qualified Montessori staff accompany the children in their learning process in both languages of instruction, i.e., German and English.
The school is a state-accredited day school operating under the auspices of the Department of Education of Canton Zurich. Rietberg Montessori School is also licensed by the Association Montessori (Switzerland) AM(S).
The Montessori curriculum fully covers all the curriculum requirements of Canton Zurich and guarantees transfer to secondary school.
